To realise the objectives of KADIN and to support the Chamber's finctions, the Board of Council perform the following roles:

Develop and expand the soul as well as develop and expand the capabilities and skills of the operators Indonesia in order to grow and develop dynamically and use the attainment of steady economic growth, increased development and the creation of a broader work.

Foster and enhance the active participation of Indonesian businessmen to increase national production by highly skilled work, efficient, disciplined and dedicated.

Disseminate information about government policies on the economy to entrepreneurs in Indonesia.

Convey information about the problem and the development of world economy that can influence their own lives or the world economy and national efforts, the government and business in Indonesia.

Education, training and other activities that are beneficial in order to build and develop the skills of the operators Indonesia, both committed themselves and working with the Industrial Organization and Entrepreneur Organization.

Maintain and enhance the relationship and cooperation of mutual benefit and mutual support among Indonesian operators, including the expansion of business linkage between industry and other sectors of business.

Maintain and enhance the relationship and cooperation between Indonesian entrepreneurs and business people abroad in line with the needs and interests of economic development and in accordance with national development goals.

Initiating and maintaining statistical analysis and information centers and to promote efforts at home and abroad.

Balancing and maintaining conservation efforts and prevent the emergence of environmental harm and or environmental pollution.

Preparing and giving evidence required that operators of Indonesia to the needs of commerce, industry and services, both for the needs of domestic and overseas.

Maintenance and enhancement of relations and cooperation of mutual benefit and mutual support among entrepreneurs Indonesia, including the expansion of business linkage between industry and other sectors of business.

Chambers of Commerce and Industry is the medium of communication and consultation between operators and between operators Indonesia Indonesia and the Government on matters related to the problem of commercial, industrial, and services.
